Common Dubrovnik (lat. Teucrium chamaedrys) is a herbaceous plant of the Lamiaceae family.
Botanical description:
Common Dubrovnik is a perennial subshrub up to 25 cm high. The stems are erect, round, sometimes with a red-violet tint. The leaves are opposite, ovate, with crenate-serrate edges. The flowers are small, pinkish-red, collected in false whorls in the axils of the upper leaves.

Grows on edges and slopes, prefers calcareous soils. Distributed in Europe.

Contains essential oil, tannins, bitterness.
Application:
