Emergency Notice of Infectious Disease, Food, Acute Occupational Poisoning

An emergency notification of an infectious disease (IID), food poisoning (FOI), acute occupational poisoning (APO) is an operational accounting document (AUD) that is used to register each case of detection by a doctor or medical personnel of an infectious disease from a special list, food or acute occupational poisoning in a patient.

An emergency notification is drawn up to transmit information about the detection of a disease to sanitary and epidemiological surveillance authorities, medical organizations, enterprises, institutions and organizations that are subject to the requirements of sanitary legislation.

PID can be detected both when a patient seeks medical help and during medical examinations, clinical examinations, and preventive examinations. PID must be registered within 12 hours from the moment the disease is detected.

The OUD contains information about the patient, data on the identified disease, results of laboratory tests, information about contact persons and other necessary data. The emergency notification is drawn up in two copies and signed by the doctor who diagnosed the disease.

Hazardous hazards can occur when working with toxic substances, using low-quality food products, etc. The SAR must be registered no later than 12 hours after detection.

To register an HPO, the “Emergency Notification of Acute Poisoning of Chemical Etiology” form is filled out. The OUD contains information about the patient (full name, age, place of work, profession), information about the identified substances, their quantity, symptoms and treatment of the patient. An emergency notification is signed by the doctor and medical worker who discovered the poisoning.

Thus, an emergency notification is an important document for recording and transmitting information about infectious diseases, food and acute occupational poisoning. Timely detection and registration of such cases allows timely measures to be taken to prevent the spread of infections and poisonings, as well as to ensure the protection of public health.

Notification of an infectious, food or acute occupational disease (poisoning) is a document containing brief information about an identified case of disease or poisoning, which is of operational interest to the authorities and institutions of the sanitary and epidemiological service.

The notification is filled out by a doctor, paramedic or paramedical worker who has identified the disease or poisoning, and is sent to the nearest territorial center for sanitary and epidemiological surveillance, sanitary and epidemiological station, sanitary and hygienic laboratory or, in the case of food poisoning, to the food hygiene department.
