Emphysema Periacinar

Pulmonary emphysema is a lung disease in which the structure of the lung tissue and alveoli is disrupted due to chronic bronchitis, as well as during an infectious process, which is characterized by the development of inflammatory infiltrates in the walls of the acinus and disruption of the structure of the alveolar walls, the formation of thin-walled cavities.

The disease is primarily due to the presence of genetic causes, for example, hereditary disorders of the liver or pancreas. If a child is born with this disease, then his body should be urgently checked for hereditary abnormalities and developmental defects. This type of emphysema occurs mainly in men. In advanced cases, the disease develops quickly, and sometimes it is necessary to note only the last stage, when there are simply no lungs, instead there is only a small amount of fibrous tissue.
