Phenomenal Decapitation

Fenomenov Nikolai Nikolaevich (1856) is one of the most outstanding obstetricians and gynecologists of his time. It was he who introduced decapitation into medical practice. What was she like? This method of delivery was quite popular in pre-revolutionary Russia. The birth was difficult, so anesthesia was needed, but in the 19th century, due to the lack of drugs, this method of obstetrics did not become widespread. In 1905 N.N. Fenomenov introduced a special decapitation technique, which made childbirth safer and more comfortable. It consisted of cutting the fetal head at the border of the chin and nose, cutting the umbilical cord and removing the shoulders. This method was aimed at minimizing trauma to the mother's birth canal. This technique became widespread thanks to Dr. Fenomonov, and thanks to this, thanks to its phenomenally high efficiency, it reached the pinnacle of popularity as a maternity method. This method has significantly reduced the incidence of complications after childbirth, while at the same time facilitating the birth process itself.
