Sinusitis Hyperplastic

Sinusitis is an inflammatory disease of the mucous membrane of the maxillary sinus, characterized by the presence of focal inflammation. The causes of the development of the disease may be exposure to fungal infections, bacteria and viruses, allergic reactions, a history of prolonged runny nose, complications after influenza, hypothermia, and in adults - chronic diseases. With a bilateral form of sinusitis, a person experiences nasal congestion, pain when tilting the head, lacrimation, and bad breath. The chronic course of the disease can lead to brain damage. Antibiotics are prescribed for treatment, but if the disease is uncomplicated, conservative therapy can be used.
