Hemistrumectomy

Hemisterectomy is a surgical procedure performed to remove part of the lungs containing tumor tissue. This may be done in the case of lung cancer or other malignant diseases that affect the lung tissue.

The process of preparing for a hemistrectomy includes a CT scan or X-ray to determine the location of the tumor and its size. The patient is then placed under general anesthesia in the operating room.

During the operation, the surgeon makes an incision in the patient's chest, after which he separates the area with the tumor from healthy tissue. The tumor is then removed along with part of the lung. Sometimes the surgeon may also remove lymph nodes that are near the tumor.

After the operation is completed, the patient remains in the intensive care unit for several days. The doctor monitors his condition and conducts additional examinations if necessary.

Hemistrectomy is a very complex operation that requires highly qualified surgeons and anesthesiologists. After such surgery, the patient may experience various complications such as infection, bleeding or respiratory failure. That's why
