Histamine Test Single

Introduction

The histamine reaction is one of the methods for diagnosing an allergic reaction. In medicine, it is used to determine the level of histamine antibodies in the patient's blood. The reaction is carried out once and allows you to identify or confirm the presence of a histamine-dependent allergy. This examination also helps to find out whether a person has actually developed an allergy to a certain food product or not. To carry out a histamine test, an antihistamine (diphenhydramine) or histamine chloride is used. Both of these drugs cause an inflammatory response in the body, but in different organs, so that it can determine which part of the body is damaged. Proa results cannot give an absolutely accurate picture of the development of an allergic reaction, since antihistamines have other side effects and because of this the reaction may change depending on the medication taken. During this procedure, changes in the reaction of the skin are recorded using special devices.
