Homoreactants

Homoreactants are substances that react with each other to form new compounds. They are used in various industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, food, etc.
Homoreactants are compounds containing more than one functional group that can be used to form new compounds. For example, when two homoreaactants containing carboxyl groups are mixed, an ester is formed.
One example of a homoreactant is acetic acid, which can react with acetaldehyde to form acetaldehyde. This process is called an esterification reaction.
The homoreactant can also be used to prepare polymers such as acrylic acid-based polymers. Acrylic acid can be polymerized with initiators such as hydrogen peroxide to form a polymer.
In general, homoreactants are important compounds in chemistry and are used in many industries.

Homoreactants are a reaction system, the reactions of the components of which proceed according to the substitution mechanism and, as a result of the formation of reaction products between different substances, a complete mutual chemical transformation of the reacting molecules occurs. Several substitution reactions can occur in one homoreagent molecule

Often used as a synonym for the term agglutinant, which is used to designate homogeneous systems. Under agglutination, often used for homogeneous and gel-forming systems "Homoagglutination system".

Homologues are substances of different structures that contain a main carbon chain of identical, repeating units, and all the diversity of properties is due to the structure
