Peripalvical urinary granuloma can be called urine in the stomach or kidney in the stomach. The synonym laparoscopic cholangitis is used for the term “urinary peripelvic”. The disease develops due to the entry of urine and intestinal contents into the abdominal cavity, and can also be of bacterial origin. In such cases, the localization is usually located in the upper part of the organ - in the hepatic sinus or gall bladder. Lesions are often bilateral. The described pathology is a consequence of the uncontrolled passage of urine and mucus through the intestinal tracts - the ileum and rectum through the urethra. Sometimes peritonitis develops in the presence of polyps or other neoplasms in the intestine and perforation of Meckel's diverticulum.
Pathology is detected in both adults and children over 2 years of age. A hereditary predisposition to the disease is assumed. It can be triggered by the presence of parasites, helminthic infestations in the gastrointestinal tract, weakened immunity, and chronic urinary tract infections. The main reason is impaired urine outflow, deterioration of intestinal motility, congenital structural defects and dysfunction of the sphincter of Oddi.
