Basal Cranial Hernia

Basal cranial hernia is a pathological condition in which there is an increase and protrusion of brain elements into the central part of the skull. The uterus consists of a compact part formed from the bones of the greater and lesser wing of the sphenoid bone and the foramen ovale. The absence of the epiphyseal plate is the basis for the growth of the cyst until puberty, and then its involution.
