Head of Medical Service
The head of the medical service is the official in charge of the medical services of a unit, formation, association, troops or organizations of the state and municipal fire service of a city or region.
Chiefs of medical services are created in departments to provide management of medical and evacuation support. The heads of the service are the immediate superiors of the personnel of the medical services of the units and are responsible for organizing medical and preventive care for the wounded and sick. They manage the treatment and diagnostic departments and units subordinate to them (polyclinics, sanitary units of military branches, emergency medical teams, auxiliary points, hospitals, courses, etc.)
The chief of medical service is the official in charge of the medical unit of units, formations, formations and districts of the United Nations Forces. This concept originated in the armed forces of NATO countries, which began to require their senior medical officers to lead medical services in active armies and expeditionary units. Then this principle was borrowed by many European countries
