Healthy teeth – protection from female diseases

American scientists from Case Western Reserve University have found that the excessive proliferation of certain bacteria in the oral cavity can negatively affect women's health. Moreover, it can even lead to diseases.

It is especially dangerous for pregnant women to miss their teeth. For them, hygiene is most important, because harmful bacteria can harm the unborn baby, cause premature birth or fetal death. So the ban on pregnant women visiting dentists (previously it was considered advisable not to go to the dentist during pregnancy) has been lifted in America.

Any woman should take care of her teeth more carefully than a man. Fortunately, this is most often what happens. In addition, the researchers insist that women are required to undergo a dental examination at least once every six months. After all, hormonal changes in our lives occur constantly (this includes adolescence, and menstrual cycles, not to mention periods of pregnancy and menopause). It is important to notice dental problems in time and begin to correct them before they provoke much more serious health problems.

Researchers have studied almost 100 scientific papers and are absolutely sure that there is a clear relationship between gum disease, hormonal levels and women's health.
