Chemical weapon

Chemical weapons (CW) are weapons of mass destruction (WMD), the action of which is based on the toxic properties of certain substances in relation to humans, animals and plants. Application of H.o. prohibited by the first Geneva Protocol of 1924. Although the word “chemical” is sometimes mistakenly associated with herbicides, which are widely used for plant protection, in reality C.o. are all substances that can cause fatal or irreversible harm to health upon contact. These include toxic substances, chemical warfare agents (chemical warfare agents), non-combat agents and chemical warfare agents.
