I clearly remember one trip that my family and I took when I was about 10. It was a trip to the mountains. We drove for about 5 hours before we reached the mountain resort. I was looking forward to this trip - after all, for me it was my first real trip to the mountains!
As soon as we arrived and checked into the hotel, I immediately ran to the ski lifts. I was so nervous the first time I got on the chairlift. I remember how we rose higher and higher, and below us lay a valley strewn with houses, like toy houses. The view was amazing!
I also clearly remember our first walk along the mountain paths. It was not easy to walk up the mountain with a backpack on your shoulders. But then we stopped at the top of the hill, and for the first time I saw real mountains in all their grandeur. These huge rocks covered with snow are an unforgettable sight. I then thought that I had never seen anything more beautiful in my life.
And in the evenings we played board games with the whole family by the fireplace. Or they just sat nearby, warming themselves by the fire and admiring the stunning view from the window. These were such cozy and calm evenings, full of warmth and joy.
Yes, I remember this trip for a long time. Mountains, ski lifts, walks, evenings by the fireplace... I still keep these vivid impressions from childhood. And I really want to someday return to those places to remember everything again.
