How to draw anime eyes

Let's start drawing anime eyes with a light sketch. We need to draw the upper and lower eyelids, as well as the shape of the iris. Anime style eyes are very large and almost round, take this into account when drawing.

Now we draw the fold of the eyelid, the pupil and the highlight on it, add eyelashes and a shadow on the white of the eye - everything is shown in detail in the image below. Create a new layer under the sketch layer if you draw in photoshop or sai, and if you draw with a pencil, then just start coloring the anime eye with pencils or paints. We paint the skin around the eye beige, leave the white white, and you can make any iris, but I chose a blue-green color. Don't forget to leave a white spot as a highlight. The eyes will be large and shiny, like those of a real doll.

We shade the upper part of the eye, that is, the skin, iris and white.

At this stage we need to shade the eye even more from above so that it is almost black - this will give the character's look depth.

We draw the folds around the eye and make the upper eyelid even more expressive.

Apply light spots to the iris of the eye.

Here I apply even more colored highlights, dyeing my eyelashes brown and adding a highlight to the white of my eye.

All that remains is to apply pink color to the lower eyelid, and our anime-style eye is ready. Now that you know how to draw eyes in this style, you can safely start drawing the face of an anime girl.

7. Add small lines of shadow at the top, under the eyelashes, draw the crease of the eyelids and draw thin eyebrows. You can paint the pupils any color.

1. Let's look at another method for drawing anime eyes. Draw the same parallel lines as in the previous example and mark identical squares using a ruler.

2. Draw squares of the same width (use a ruler) and place the shape of the eyes in them, as in figure “2”.
   
3. Draw the top of the eyelashes that branch out to the sides.
4. Draw the lower bold lash lines.
   
5. At this stage, erase all the auxiliary lines with an eraser and draw the pupils, leaving white highlights of different shapes.
6. Lightly draw shadow under the eyelashes and color in the pupils.
