A traumatic cyst is a benign formation that develops as a result of soft tissue injury. It consists of connective tissue filled with fluid. The cyst can be round or oval in shape, from a few millimeters to several centimeters in diameter.

A traumatic cyst occurs with bruises and sprains of soft tissue, damage to tendons and ligaments, as well as bone fractures. Most often it forms on the face, neck, shoulder and knee. The cyst can occur on any part of the body, but it is most often found in areas of intense physical activity, such as athletes and people involved in high-touch sports. The causes of cysts can be different, it also depends on the age, development, age and activity of the person. For example, a cyst in young athletes can form due to strong work on exercise equipment. In older people, due to menopause, a hormonal imbalance occurs in a woman’s body, which affects the appearance of pathologies such as cysts. Most often, such people suffer from a characteristic menopausal syndrome associated with changes in the vaginal walls. This disease is precisely characterized by the development of injuries. The absence of sexual relations or their low frequency in life also plays a big role. Typically, the cause of this type of cyst is considered to be the proliferation of sinuses, which are called endometriosis. Their development is a consequence of increased levels of estrogen in the blood. In women, this pathology is a consequence of hormonal imbalance, which leads to the appearance of sex hormones not only in the gonads, but also in other tissues, such as the intestines, mammary glands, lungs, bladder and even the nervous system. Such a violation cannot but affect a woman’s activities. Her irritability increases, aggressiveness appears, her head becomes heavy and tinnitus appears, rapid heartbeat and cardiac dysfunction are observed. Menopause in different age groups, mainly in women, passes with the formation of a cyst. After fifty years, it can appear in many representatives of the fairer sex. Menopause is considered a complex endocrine disorder. There is a disruption in the metabolism of protein compounds, disruptions in the functioning of other organs and systems occur, and if left untreated, this can lead to serious consequences. For example, sexual dysfunction, infertility, formation of hemorrhoids
