Semilunar Valve

The semilunar valve prevents this by closing tighter than normal.

- Ventricular cusp - located on the side of the chamber from which blood exits into the semilunar cusp; - Quadricuspid leaflet, which carries four valves; - Lunar valve. - Axillary cusp: It prevents blood from flowing back from the right ventricle back into the left atrium.
