Clotrimazole

Clotrimazole is an antifungal drug from the group of imidazoles for topical use.

Indications for use:

  1. Mycoses of the skin (feet, hands, groin area) - dermatophytosis, skin candidiasis
  2. Urogenital candidiasis

Mode of application:

  1. Cream or solution - apply a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin 2-3 times a day, rub in
  2. For urogenital candidiasis, an intravaginal tablet is administered at night, the skin around is lubricated with 1% cream

Release form:

  1. Cream 1%
  2. Solution for external use 1%
  3. Intravaginal tablets 0.1 g

Clotrimazole has an antifungal effect by disrupting the synthesis of fungal cell membrane components. Effective against dermatophytes and yeast fungi of the genus Candida. The use of clotrimazole for the local treatment of skin mycoses and urogenital candidiasis ensures high efficiency and good tolerability.
