Oak bark

Oak bark is widely used in folk medicine due to its healing properties.

Indications for use:

  1. As an astringent and anti-inflammatory agent for inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa, pharynx, pharynx, larynx, gingivitis, stomatitis.

  2. For the treatment of burns.

Mode of application:

  1. In the form of an aqueous decoction (20 g of raw material per 200 ml of boiling water) for rinsing 6-8 times a day.

  2. To treat burns, prepare a more concentrated decoction (40 g of raw material per 200 ml of boiling water).

Oak bark is rich in tannins, which have an astringent, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect. This explains its effectiveness in the treatment of diseases of the mucous membranes and burns. Decoctions and rinses help reduce inflammation, heal damage and stop bleeding.
