Laryngoceleo (false) is a disease that manifests itself in the form of a tumor of the larynx (the cavity where the voice-forming apparatus, trachea and bronchi are located). The reasons for its occurrence remain unclear, but doctors say that the disease most often occurs as a result of excess hormones in a woman’s body. Laryngocelios tend to grow to large sizes and compress the organs of the respiratory system, but they can be treated and removed.
