Lentiviruses

**Lentiviruses** are a family of viruses that attack the human immune system and cause various diseases such as hepatitis B, herpes and HIV. Lentiviruses are characterized by a cycle in which the infection occurs in 3 stages: early, late and acute. At an early stage, the lentivirus does not cause symptoms; at a later stage, symptoms characteristic of the virus develop, and secondary infections (bacterial, fungal) also occur. Treatment of all three stages is possible with the help of medications, but it requires a lot of experience and knowledge from doctors. The human body contains antibodies that can prevent infection by the virus. Antibodies are the basis of immunotherapy, which helps fight infection in the body. Interestingly, the appearance of lentiviruses dates back to the end of the Cenozoic era (about 25-35 million years ago), when compared with their origins before that time. This suggests that it was in the Cenozoic that evolutionary changes affected people and contributed to the emergence of the virus. Thus, now the whole world is trying to find a vaccine against lentivirus, because... This is a global crisis that many countries are already facing. Vaccination has become mandatory
