Lymph Nodes Behind the Ear

Lymph nodes behind the ear - (lat. n. l. Retroauriculares) - accumulation of fiber in the behind-the-ear area, which is one of the tearless groups of lymph nodes of the head and neck. They are located behind the auricle and below the major and minor muscles. Anatomically, these lymph nodes are connected by two pelvises through lymphangitis passing along the posterior surface of the mastoid process.

Lymphatic behind the ear - lymphatic formations located behind and below the ears, there are very few of them, and that is why they are poorly developed. Therefore, the appearance of these formations in children and adults may indicate the development of infection
