Matron

Matrona of Moscow is one of the most revered Orthodox saints. She was born in 1840 into a poor peasant family. As a child, she was often sick, but one day she had a dream in which she was healed by a woman in white. Since then, Matrona became healthy and helped other people, giving them advice and comfort.

Matrona was known for her kindness and mercy. She helped the poor and sick, distributed money to the needy and took care of children. She was also known for her prophecies, which often came true.

Many people came to her for help and advice. She told them that they needed to believe in God and live according to his laws. She taught people to be kind, patient and merciful.

Today Matrona is one of the most revered saints in Russia. Her icons can be seen in many temples and churches. People come to her to ask for help and receive comfort.
