Microangiography is a method for studying the condition of small vessels, or capillaries, in organs and tissues. It allows you to study the morphological (structural) and functional aspects of their work. Using microangiography, you can find the answer to many questions: the effect of a substance on the health and performance of blood vessels; condition of organ tissues as a result of disease; the ability of capillaries to provide an organ or part of it with nutrients and oxygen or, on the contrary, to cleanse it of waste products.
In this article we will consider the main objectives of microangiography and their importance for medical practice, the basic principles of the method and technique of conducting the study, as well as examples of the use of the results of the study in the treatment of certain diseases.
