Minalgan

Minalgan is a drug from the group of spasmo-analgesics. It was developed in India and is manufactured by Menon Pharma.

The history of the creation of Minalgan dates back to 1941. Then Dr. Edwin A. Freier isolated the chemicals PGE1 (a derivative of arachidonic acid), which is the main active ingredient in painkillers and the adrenergic agonist Epi-2b.

These chemical compounds became the basis for the development of the drug. Pyrazolone derivatives such as metamizole, pitophenol and fenpeverine were combined to create the classic Minalgan recipe.

Today Minalgan is presented on the market as a series of drugs containing metamizole + pitophenol + fenpiverine bromide. However, the drug did not become available to buyers due to long-term studies that were conducted on the safety and effectiveness of the drug’s components. The drug was often used in medicine to relieve pain, including hernia and dysmenorrhea. However, many patients reported side effects such as nausea, headache, sweating, anemia, diarrhea and constipation. In addition, the drug can cause allergic reactions and can also be dangerous for children. Therefore, you should strictly follow the recommendations of doctors when using the drug Minalgan. Before taking Minalgan, you should consult a specialist and make sure that taking this drug is right for you. Be careful and always follow your doctors instructions!
