What is the meaning of thermal water? How to use it and why?

I tried to do this. Firstly, I bought an atomizer for this purpose, fortunately there is a lot of this stuff on the Internet now. Because part of the effect is due to finely dispersed water dust, so you need a good sprayer. Secondly, you need to make sure that the mineral water indicates that it is from deep thermal springs, not from any other. Unfortunately, I don't remember the brand. But this can be found in a regular supermarket, it costs 3 kopecks.

How can you replace thermal water with mineral water? who told you such nonsense?
The composition and purposes are completely different, you can wash your face with mineral water, but there is no substitute for thermal water.

True, in the end I still switched back to the Vichy thermal spring, because no two thermal springs are absolutely identical, each water has a unique composition. And this one suits me. And there’s less hassle, and it costs 300 rubles, whatever.

Just how you can replace thermal water with mineral water. who told you such nonsense?
The composition and purpose are completely different, you can wash your face with mineral water, but there is no way to replace it with thermal water. I read somewhere a review from a cosmetologist that it is practically the same in composition. And thermal water was invented for convenience (to carry with you).

On the contrary, Vichy dries me out. There's salt in there, what should it moisturize with? In general, *** what kind of thermal water is this?

and Vichy dries me out, I won’t buy it again
It was great in the summer, not so much in the fall
although it probably depends on the season, it would provide at least a drop of hydration.

Author, mineral water cannot replace thermal water, at least La Roche Posay or Aven. The latter relieve irritation and redness as if by hand, but I haven’t noticed this with mineral water (I wash my face with mineral water)

Dear, educate yourself better that even the composition is completely different. If you decide to save money and come up with something of your own, this does not mean that it will replace a certain product and does not mean at all that it is right. If you have a brain, then there is probably no carbon in thermal water. gas If you are a fool, then it is better to sit and be silent.

Sorry, I missed a word: nerves, of course, need to be healed)))

I really liked the sulfur thermal water from Frais Monde, sold in pharmacies, in Russia - this is a new brand. The girl consultant recommended it, I decided to try it and was very pleased. I recommend. But I wouldn’t replace it with mineral water, in my opinion it’s still not the same at all.

I wash my face with mineral water, but have never used thermal water at all. what is it for? is it really necessary?

If you are a fool, nothing will help. You really should have gone gray in your chemistry and physics classes too. Because you know very little. that you cannot understand the difference between mineral water (with and without gas content) or ordinary table mineral water from thermal water. A fool is a fool, what can you do? Once you were born this way and that, you can’t use your brains anymore. I tried to explain to you that this is not the same thing, I responded to your insult in kind, which actually surprised you so much later. You got what you deserve

Plain water does not moisturize, but dries out the skin. It evaporates and pulls water molecules out of the skin. Also many simple drinking mineral waters. And thermal ones are absorbed, their composition is close to physiological solution, i.e. to our lymph, blood, etc. I tried washing my face with mineral waters - they dry and tighten. On the contrary, Uriage is like a light cream, the skin is soft. Moisturizing lasts a long time.

Don't quarrel, ladies)
Personally, I support one of the previous speakers - the Frais Monde thermal bath is awesome. Moisturizes very well, does not dry out the skin or tighten it. This is the second year I've been using it.)

Vichy thermal water is hydrocarbonate-sodium. There are up to 5.1 g of minerals per 1 liter. If this indicator is higher than 1 g/l, the water already belongs to the class of increased mineralization.

Smart guys, every cosmetologist knows that the best moisturizer is hyaluronic acid. Moisturizing sprays are called places and thermal water is a crazy waste, so much money for a bottle of water that really costs a penny

Indeed, it is so. Thermal water can contain up to 15 minerals, while mineral water can contain only 6. T. is very beneficial for facial skin; it is usually from hot springs (up to 40°), which means it is very clean and soft for the face. M. - used internally, because a bit harsh on the face. It is not very recommended to completely replace T. with M. From the latest research.quote="Guest"]

What water is better to wash off foams, gels and scrubs from the face? Having asked this question, Karina Tumanskaya studied the Ph of mineral, melt, hydrogen-enriched and other waters.
I always suspected that the softest cleansing gel and the most delicate moisturizing foam would not have a beneficial effect on the skin if they were washed off the face with, say, acetone. Tap water, of course, is not acetone, but it is a fact that you can often find a good half of the periodic table in it. In addition to tap water, you can also wash your face with mineral water, melt water, water that has passed through various filters, and so on. I decided to find out which of them is the most humane.

To do this, I had to brush up on my school knowledge of chemistry and biology and remember that the most obvious indicator by which the quality of water is judged is the Ph level, which determines its acid-base balance. And this same Ph is also present at the surface of the skin. Typically, the pH of healthy adult skin is approximately 5.5 - this is the optimal indicator at which it functions normally. If water (or any other substance that gets on the skin and stays there) has a higher or lower pH, the skin has to spend a certain amount of time and effort to restore the balance.

Many cosmetic lotions and tonics that should be used to wipe your face after washing, by the way, were invented with the sole purpose of helping her in this matter. But not everyone uses them, they are not always at hand, and in general, I would like the water itself to somehow bear responsibility for its actions :)

To bring the water to clean water, I acquired this simple device and tablets.

To determine the Ph level of the pool, water is poured into a container and a tablet is thrown into it. The tablet reacts with the liquid and the water turns a color approximately similar to the color on the scale. There is no ideal value - 5.5 - on the scale at all, but it can be assumed that the correct water should be more orange-yellow in color than crimson.

Fill the container with regular tap water. We see the result:

The water turned a soft crimson color, which corresponds to a value of 8.2. Well, maybe 7.8.

This is an objective indicator.

But, of course, there is also a subjective one. Without any pills, it is known: hard water tightens the skin. For example, I have normal skin, but if I wash my face with tap water, I immediately feel the need to apply cream. Although, in general, a person with normal skin can, in theory, last without creams for at least a couple of days. Okay, a couple of hours :)

As part of this experiment, I washed my face with different water for a month and a half, checked its Ph using a device and monitored the condition of my skin and sensations. I was wondering if the opinion of the weather would coincide with the opinion of weather forecasters? :) Will the skin agree with scientific data? :)

1. Hydrogen enriched water

mineralnaya-voda-vmesto-XbSCU.webp

The device for producing hydrogen water, Enhel Water, is at Yana’s house. It is connected to ordinary tap water - and it becomes hydrogen after going through all the stages of purification, cooling and enrichment with hydrogen. In fact, you are supposed to drink it, and then, according to the scientific data given on the website, it will normalize metabolism, reduce the number of wrinkles, strengthen the immune system, reduce allergic reactions and even improve memory.

But I decided to test it for external use - and for ten days I washed my face with water from aluminum flasks, refilling them from Yana from time to time. (They are made of aluminum because, unlike plastic, for example, it does not allow very volatile hydrogen to escape. But even in these flasks, water retains its properties for no more than two days. However, it is assumed that in two days you get exactly a liter you are drinking.)

Subjective: in 10 days, hydrogen water slightly evened out the skin tone, and the face became less tormented. But the peeling did not go away, nor did the feeling of tightness after washing. (By the way, Yana says that this effect (tone alignment) is not an accident: if any cream is applied to a face moistened with this water, its effectiveness increases, since hydrogen molecules work as conductors of active ingredients inside. Perhaps this is so.)

Where to buy and how much it costs: the official website will tell you best about this. The price of the device fluctuates around 300,000 rubles.

In order for washing with mineral water to be beneficial and not harmful, you need to remember a few simple rules. First: this water should be natural and low-mineralized, that is, one where the salt content per liter does not exceed 200-500 mg. The task is to find the word “mineralization” on the label and make sure that the number next to it is in the range of 2-5 g/l.

mineralnaya-voda-vmesto-PWKFcvX.webp

Second: the water must be “aerated” before use. That is, simply put, let as many gases escape as possible. Much like with red wine, which also needs to breathe :) I aerated the mineral water for about a day.

Subjectively: already on the second day the skin became softer, the feeling of tightness after washing disappeared, as well as the need to immediately run for cream. I was surprised to find that my pores brightened and tightened. (I don’t know what this could be connected with, maybe the gases remaining in the water push fat to the surface? :) On the fifth day, the tone evened out, the skin became matte. I even gave up peeling, which I usually use once a week, because otherwise the foundation refuses to set properly.

Where to buy and how much it costs: in any store. One bottle lasted me a day and a half, considering that I always wash my face in the morning and evening. The price of a bottle varies from 40 to 100 rubles. Accordingly, if you decide to switch to this method of washing, your budget will lose an average of 1,500 rubles per month. Unless, of course, you decide to take baths and wash your hair in it.

This is, of course, the most troublesome option. In addition to the fact that you need to remember to freeze the water, you also need to defrost it and warm it to room temperature.

To make melt water according to all the rules, you need to take a glass jar, fill it with filtered water (it is important not to try to fill it to the brim - otherwise it will crack!), close the lid and place it in the freezer on a piece of cardboard. The first crust that forms on the surface is removed and thrown away - it may contain all sorts of unpleasant impurities that crystallize the fastest. As soon as the water freezes by 2/3, you should take out the jar, drain what has not yet frozen and leave the ice to defrost at room temperature.

Subjectively: in the first days I was sure that I was doing nonsense. I didn’t see any differences between using melt water and tap water. The skin felt somewhat tight and dry, the redness did not go away. But then either the water started working, or the placebo effect happened. I began to feel that my skin looked more toned and radiant. And I now perceived the feeling of slight tightness as a “lifting effect.” True, neither dullness nor the disappearance of black spots, as when using mineral water, was noticed.

Where to buy and how much it costs: free of charge in your refrigerator, that is, for nothing.

Shower crystal stream

Subjectively: our house has two bathrooms, but, as often happens in country houses, no one reaches the second floor. Because first of all, the water itself does not reach there - in the right quantity for the required pressure. From the very beginning, the watering can pleasantly surprised me because it really solved the pressure problem. Soon I noticed that all my household members had moved to the bathroom on the second floor - the effect of this cloud of splashes turned out to be very pleasant.

As for the effect on the skin, although the PH level did not change as much compared to tap water as in the case of mineral water, I still saw positive changes. They, however, rather touched not the face, but the body: after 5-6 taking such leuko-showers, the skin ceased to be papery, and the itching that I suffer from due to dry skin left me :) Well, in terms of the effect on the psyche of the leuko Shower crystal stream has no equal. And you can wash your hair perfectly with this water.

Where to buy and how much it costs: 4,450 rubles from an official representative (set of watering can with three filters). One filter lasted me 3 weeks. By the way, there are several filters - for ionizing water, for water that is too hard and saturated with iron, and so on. A faucet attachment for sinks should also go on sale soon.

Surely you have heard the “advice for all occasions” that you need to drink at least 2 liters of water a day. Especially for maintaining beauty.

The advice is, of course, wonderful, but not every kidney can handle it. And more and more experts are inclined to believe that this is just a myth. But water can really make your skin clear, glowing, and even delay the appearance of wrinkles. But not just any kind, but a mineral one. Here's how Hollywood beauties use mineral water to take care of themselves!

mineralnaya-voda-vmesto-XwKHGtr.webp

I would have gone for a swim...

It’s no wonder that mineral springs have attracted the rich and famous for centuries. When used wisely (both externally and internally), mineral water will truly improve your health and even your beauty. Moreover, many famous beauties coquettishly admit in interviews that they wash their face only with precious water. If taking a bath from the expensive Evian or at least Borjomi does not fit into the family budget, do not be upset. You can pamper your skin with regular soda. Include it in your care ritual and you will quickly see how your face has changed. And you can start with these tips from celebrity beauty gurus.

1. Washing with mineral water

mineralnaya-voda-vmesto-NATjjZW.webp

A strange but effective trend that came to us from Asian countries.

The secret to the radiant and tight skin of many beauties is washing with mineral water. This technique is especially popular in Asian countries, where they know everything and a little more about the beauty of the skin. Use "soda" instead of tap water, or even dip your face in a deep container of bubbles for 10-15 seconds, as the Japanese do. Gas bubbles will help deliver oxygen to the deep layers of the skin, which will speed up blood circulation. The result is an even complexion and less pronounced swelling. In addition, they also work as a soft peeling, dissolving impurities. So you can forget about black dots.

2. Mineral water instead of tonic

mineralnaya-voda-vmesto-gpvVjC.webp

Mineral water instead of toner.

If washing your face with bubbles is too much, use mineral water instead of toner. Soak cotton pads in water and wipe your face. The consumption is less, but the result is almost the same. It is believed that the high content of silicon dioxide in mineral water strengthens the spongy cells between collagen and elastin fibers, which slows down the formation of wrinkles.

3. Use mineral water for masks

mineralnaya-voda-vmesto-PMpEf.webp

Just add water…. into the mask.

The recipe for many homemade face masks (including the now fashionable alginate products) includes water. Simply replace regular water with mineral water, which will enhance the effect of the active ingredients.

4. Instead of thermal water

mineralnaya-voda-vmesto-YhTzIS.webp

Mineral water will refresh you no worse than thermal water.

“Soda” will perfectly refresh your face in the summer heat or in a dry office. Pour it into a spray bottle and spray every time you feel dryness and discomfort.

5. And even for the beauty of hair

mineralnaya-voda-vmesto-aMkwgqY.webp

“Is it really good for hair?”

Some beauty gurus advise washing your hair with mineral water rather than regular water. If this is too much (and this is too much), but you want to try, just pour the mineral water into a spray bottle and apply to damp hair before blow-drying. Your hair will look fuller and at the same time be nourished with microelements.
