I want to share with you my feelings and observations from instant tanning, or as it is also called reed tan.

So, I realized that I needed to be tanned a few weeks before the wedding. My dress was champagne color, and this color looks very beautiful on tanned skin. And since I had previously tried different self-tanners and gradual tanning creams, but I didn’t like anything 100 percent, I wanted to find something else. Solarium doesn't suit me either.

By that time, I had watched several videos about instant tanning, in which it was highly praised. But on the forums there were more opposing opinions. Many wrote that after application they became covered in spots, some that it washed off immediately, and for others the tan did not fade evenly.

But I decided to try. I decided that I would try it just before the bachelorette party (for the photo shoot), and then before the wedding I would do it again (in a week after the first time).

I found in our city (Krasnodar) only two places where they do such a tan. Moreover, in one it cost 1200 rubles, and in the other 800 rubles. And I still wasn’t afraid to go for 800 rubles. )))

In the tanning studio, I was met by a rather strange-looking woman, well, usually beautiful, well-groomed girls work in salons, and even if they are not beautiful, they are definitely well-groomed! I was surprised that she would be the one applying the tan to me, I panicked a little. But she climbed into the booth. They gave me the usual hand cream to apply on those places that shouldn’t get sunburned: nails, elbows, knees. (I read on the websites that a special cream is applied, and not the usual “Velvet Handles” for hands, but oh well).

The choice of colors was small, only two - a light tone and a very dark one. I chose light)

The tan is applied twice. The first layer, then after about five minutes the second. The procedure itself is pleasant, the tanning composition smells delicious. After the first application, I noticed that it did not lie very evenly on my legs, and my armpits remained white. She made a remark, the girl said that she would fix it with a second coat. But the second syllable fell even worse in these places, only emphasizing the unevenness. There was not enough light in the room where all this was applied, and I saw all this “beauty” only after a while on the street. But in principle, it doesn’t really catch the eye; on the legs, only I can see it.

It was necessary to dry for 8 hours, avoid water, and not spray anything... I followed ALL the rules! And the first day I was very tanned (although I chose a light color), just like a Brazilian tan! Great!))) Photo 9 hours after application, then I took a shower, the tone washed off a little, but was still saturated.

On the second day after the second shower, the tan began to fade noticeably. Especially on the face. Although I only washed my face with water! And moisturized the skin constantly. But it was still beautiful)

On the 3rd day there was just a photo shoot at the bachelorette party. I think the tan is noticeable. But he was already noticeably weaker.

But after day 4, almost everything was washed away. But at 5 it was not visible at all. I was upset because they promised it would last 7-10 days.

I would like to note that it came off evenly! No spots, just like a regular tan!

So overall I liked it. And I decided to sign up again before the wedding. But that day it so happened that I did not have time to come to them twice. And I was left without a tan...

Conclusion: In my opinion, if you want to get a beautiful tan before an important event, then don’t be afraid, you can do it with confidence!) But it’s still better to do it one day before the event, since there are a lot of restrictions in the first 8 hours, then you can go to the shower and just from that moment on, tan for the day ahead ideal. Then it gradually goes away, but after 4 days, alas, there is practically nothing left of it. And I would most likely be happy to go before the New Year, for example, just to another tanning studio, a lot also depends on how they apply it to you!
