Nerves of the Buttocks Upper

The inferior gluteal nerves (nerves of T. gllianii, synonym: "Nerves of Taussin-Trochanter") are a pair of large nerves that supply the muscles and skin on the back of the thigh and buttock. Some people believe that nerve ganglia in the muscle cause pain in the buttock area rather than in the muscle. These nodes are quite common and can be a symptom of other diseases.
