Neuron Horizontal

A neuron is horizontal, meaning that its axons are directed along the plane of the brain, rather than extending beyond it and forming vertical chains of neurons. Horizontal projections are a way of transmitting information between different areas of the brain. Horizontally oriented connections provide faster access to information within one brain region. Faster access can lead to faster problem solving, faster information processing, and greater ability to understand new situations.

Horizontal connections are often used in the context of learning and memory. When we learn new information or recall information,
