Nevus eccrine

Eccrine nevus is a congenital neoplasm in the form of a pale or flesh-colored nodule that rises above the skin level and has an irregular shape. To the touch the formation is densely elastic, mobile. The surface color of this spot varies from pale pink to yellowish. The place of formation is the area where the skin does not tan under the influence of ultraviolet radiation. This is the neck, face, inner surface of the arms up to the armpits. It is extremely difficult to examine and identify malignant changes, since pathology is most often discovered completely by chance. Moreover, it can occur not only on the skin, but also on the mucous membranes and subcutaneous tissue. The following factors can provoke the formation of eccrine nevi:

· Hereditary predisposition;

· Exposure to ultraviolet rays on the skin in childhood;

· Use of chemicals during work without the use of personal protective equipment; · Hormonal changes · Mechanical damage. This skin disease is diagnosed by a dermatologist, after which appropriate treatment is prescribed. Treatment for this benign skin lesion may include surgery, cryodestruction, laser removal, or radiotherapy. In any case, it is necessary to consult a specialist to determine the best treatment method. Eccrine nevi are not dangerous in nature and can sometimes be associated with other skin conditions such as lentigo or freckles.
