Nyropa Apparatus

The Nyrop device is an orthopedic device that was invented by the Danish orthopedist Nyrop in the 19th century. His goal was to help patients with various diseases of the musculoskeletal system, such as scoliosis, kyphosis, lordosis and others.

One of the most famous cases of using the Nyrop device was that of a boy named Alexander, who suffered from complex congenital scoliosis. Nirop suggested that Alexander’s parents install this device on their child, thanks to which the boy was able to improve his posture, as well as strengthen his back muscles and eliminate pain in the spine. Experiments carried out in the 20th century confirmed the effectiveness of the Nyrop device in the treatment of various diseases of the spine, such as kyphosis and lordosis.
