Nose area

The nasal area is one of the most important anatomical areas of the human body, which is important for the normal functioning of the body. It includes the nose, paranasal sinuses, skin and bone structures of the face, as well as many nerves and blood vessels.

The nose is the first organ we use for breathing, smelling and transmitting speech. It consists of bones, cartilage, skin and nerves. The bones of the nose are represented mainly by the facial and sphenoid bones. The cartilages of the nose include the pterygoid and lateral cartilages, which form the nostrils. The skin of the nose is also of great importance, as it provides protection from mechanical and infectious damage, regulation of body temperature and participation in the formation of the olfactory system.

One of the main components of the nose is the paranasal sinuses. They are cavities lined with mucous membrane and filled with air. The main role of the paranasal sinuses is to provide ventilation to the cranial cavity. In addition, this area can be affected by various diseases such as sinusitis, sinusitis, atresia and others.

All components of the nasal area are connected by nerves and blood vessels. The nervous system regulates sensitivity and innervation of the muscles and organs of the nasal area. The circulatory system ensures the delivery of oxygen and nutrients, the outflow of metabolites and
