Operation Two-stage

“Two-stage” surgery is a surgical procedure that is performed in several stages with intervals between them. Each stage of the operation is carried out a certain time after the previous one in order to create optimal conditions for further treatment and recovery of the patient.

The first stage of the operation is called “preliminary”. It includes preparing the patient for further intervention, as well as conducting diagnostic procedures to determine an accurate diagnosis and plan surgery. At this stage, various studies can be carried out, such as x-rays, ultrasound, computed tomography and others.

After the preliminary stage comes the second stage, which is called the “main” stage. At this stage, the operation itself is performed, which may include tumor removal, tissue resection, installation of implants and other procedures. The duration of the main stage depends on the complexity of the operation and the patient’s condition.

Two-stage plastic surgery is a surgical intervention consisting of two stages, which is carried out within one day in order to eliminate deformations of the skin. This method is used when the size of the deformation zone is large, or the one-stage method of surgery does not allow achieving a satisfactory result (for example, on the skin of the abdomen).

In the process of performing Two-Moment Plastic, a skin incision is made followed by one of the surgical interventions: liposuction - removal of adipose tissue, tightening of tissues (scars) and skin, or lipofilling - scraping of adipose tissue from various areas, its transplantation and filling of defective skin areas.
