Paronychia Ulcerative

Paronychia (p. haematodes) There are many diseases of the head and neck region, including paronychia. However, this disease is not common among health care workers.

Paronychia is an inflammation of the inside of the skin or mucous membrane. This disease occurs on the fingers and bones of the distal phalanx of the fingers, and can also be observed when the nail plate is deformed.

Causes of the disease

The causes of paronychia can be very different, here are some of them:

* Infectious diseases * Wounds and injuries * Prolonged exposure to cold * Penetration of pathogenic microorganisms * Fungal infection * Yeast-like fungus Candida * Stomach bacteria * Pseudomonas flora * Bacteria of the genus Streptococcus * Viruses including Coxsackie * Neurological diseases including paralysis *
