Providing first aid for complete obstruction of the respiratory tract to an adult or child who has not lost consciousness
For a child over one year old, first aid for suffocation is provided in the same way as for an adult. The only significant difference is that this assistance must be measured by the child's weight and size. It is clear that it is impossible to apply the same force when performing abdominal thrusts, as is done in injured adults. Everything else during the procedure remains unchanged.
