Polymorphic cell cancer (drug-induced cancer), or pleomorphic cell cancer, also called polymorphic cancer, is a type of cancer characterized by the presence of malignant cells in the patient’s tissues, characterized by a wide variety of morphological features. Polymorphic cell carcinoma, or pleomorphic type cancer, is a malignant tumor consisting of a large number of variously altered and differentiated cells. This is the most common type of cancer in older people (60–70 years and older). Histologically it resembles malignant melanoma.
