The Sagalovich method (known as the Surametov-Sagalovich operation) is a surgical procedure in which a deformed area of tissue is replaced with a new one. This method is used to treat a number of conditions, including burns, wounds, scars and limb deformities.
This technique was proposed by the Russian surgeon Boris Markovich Sagalovich in the 70s of the 20th century. He was one of the first to put this method into practice. Sagalovich developed an operation protocol, which described in detail each stage of the procedure and all the necessary tools for the operation. Today this method is very popular in the field of reconstructive surgery and is widely used in various clinics around the world.
