Scientists: meeting an angel is real

American scientists conducted a unique experiment that allowed people to meet an angel. This became possible thanks to lucid dreaming, during which a person understands that he is seeing a dream, but at the same time can control its content.

Researchers at the University of California put a group of volunteers into a lucid dream state and asked them to leave their bodies, meet and talk to an angel. Thus, scientists wanted to recreate the scene from the Gospel where an angel saves the starving prophet Elijah.

The experiment showed amazing results. 24 out of 30 people were able to plunge into the desired state and leave their body. 15 volunteers recreated a biblical scene in whole or in part. Another 9 people saw an angel and food in their dreams. And the other 6 simply met an angel.

Thus, scientists have proven that many stories from the Bible can be explained by lucid dreams. And meeting an angel in a dream is quite real for a modern person. This discovery will help to better understand the nature of spiritual experiences described in sacred texts.
