Sprinter runner and traction device for his preparation

In this article we will look at the so-called traction device for sprint athletes. Under the influence of this traction device, the sprinter is able to exceed his maximum speed. In this case, no disturbances in coordination of movements occur, and the runner can improve his technique at high running speeds.

The main components of the training device (see figure) are an electric motor and an autotransformer, with the help of which the amount of traction force is regulated. One end of a synthetic fishing line is attached to the engine drum, and the other end is worn by the sprinter. This is done using a special belt with a rubber shock absorber (Fig. 1, a). After the engine is turned on, the line is wound onto the drum, creating additional traction force for the sprinter.

Toggle switches for performing all operations are available both on the device itself and on the remote control with which the device is equipped. There is also a light signal for turning on the device, working stroke and braking.

The device uses an electric motor with a power of 0.6 kW and a speed of 4200 rpm (Fig. 1, b). The remote control panel is connected to the device using a six-pin connector. The RPT-100 alternating current relay is used to turn on the remote control (contacts IP - 1 and IP - 2). When the remote control is disconnected from the device (contacts 3 and 6 and relay IP - 1 are broken), control of the toggle switches on the device itself is turned on (contacts IP - 3 and IP - 4). Here a relay is used, which is connected in series with the electric motor and is activated at a set load current during the working stroke (runner's thrust). At the same time, contact 2P - 1 closes and light 2JI lights up. The braking electromagnet operates at a current of 2A and 24 V. Diode VI is used to rectify the current feeding the electromagnet, and capacitor C1 is used to smooth out the ripple of the rectified current. Signal lamps 1JI and 2JI.

In the next article we will tell you about special devices for boxers. in addition to the widely used classic boxing products: punching bags, bags, gloves and others, there is also a wide range of specialized devices that train reaction, punching power, endurance, resistance to enemy blows... But more on that in the following articles...
