Equine foot or paralytic **foot** is a fairly rare disease in which a change in the length of the foot occurs due to damage to the muscles and tendons responsible for its mobility. This disease occurs predominantly in children and is most often diagnosed between the ages of 5 and 12 years. However, cases of the disease have also been reported in adults.
The cause of paralytic foot in young children can be factors such as overwork of parents in the process of preparing the child for school, stress and a constant lack of time for proper rest. This may also be due to the fact that parents do not maintain a normal sleep schedule, constantly being at the computer, allowing the child to use the gadget at dinner or during night sleep. Such an incorrect daily routine can cause prolonged stress on the legs and “crushing” the bones in the heel.
