Tuberculoid Polar

The name "Tuberculoid Polar" is often found in medical literature and advertisements for cosmetic companies under the name "Leprosy Polarized". At the same time, there is a risk of reading an advertisement with an image of a person with leprosy on the cover of the product. Especially if the text contains the word “polarization,” which some Internet users may associate with the disease in question. This may lead to the identification of certain unique features of the product with a disease affecting the skin.

However, it must be clearly understood that polarization is not a therapeutic technique as such, but only one of the ways to solve a problem in some areas of physics. Tuberculoid's mention of polarization is nothing more than a typo, as it is not a clinical or medical technique. If there is such advertising, it clearly causes dissatisfaction and bewilderment among many users, so it may need to be eradicated.
