Warts

Warts are a viral skin disease caused by papillomaviruses. They are thickened papillae of the skin, covered with overgrown cells of its upper layer. Children and young people get sick more often. The causative agent of the disease is transmitted through direct contact with the patient and through household items.

There are simple remedies for removing warts:

  1. Apply green liquid soap, soaking a bandage in it and tying it to the wart. Change the ointment every other day.

  2. Make an ointment from crushed garlic and pork fat. Tie a cloth moistened with ointment to the wart.

  3. Keep the onion in vinegar for 2 hours. Tie it to the wart at night. Repeat until removed.

  4. Rub the wart with clean chalk and sprinkle on top. Repeat, do not wet.

  5. Rub the wart with sour apple juice every day until it disappears.

Folk remedies are also used:

  1. Rub the wart with a branch stump during the new moon.

  2. Rub the wart with a raw potato, wrap it in a rag and throw it in the manure.

  3. Rub the wart with raw meat and bury it in the ground. On the third day, bury the meat completely.

For prevention, it is important to maintain hygiene, treat minor injuries with antiseptics and fight sweating. When warts appear, treatment is prescribed by a doctor.
