Newborn care

The first 40 days of a child’s life are the most difficult and important stage. It is best to use essential oils of chamomile, dill, fennel, lavender, neroli, and rose during this period to aromatize the air, baths and massage.

Use wheat germ, almond, and apricot oil as a base for massage oil.

Dosage: per 100 ml (5 tbsp) base 1-2 parts of essential oil or a mixture thereof.

Contraindications

Internal use:

  1. up to 1 year - mint;
    1. up to 2 years - eucalyptus;
      1. up to 5 years - bergamot, marjoram;
        1. up to 7 years - geranium, ginger, chervil, catnip, meadowsweet, lemongrass, miroxalon, tansy, wormwood, rosemary, thyme, tea tree;
          1. up to 12 years - ylang-ylang, cananga, cardamom;
            1. up to 14 years - cloves, sandalwood (except for skin infections).

To aromatize the air, from 2 years old you can use any essential oils (2-3 drops for an aroma lamp).
