Aldosterone

Aldosteroid is a hormone of the adrenal cortex, which is responsible for regulating blood pressure, blood volume and electrolyte processes in the body. It is a catecholamine glycocorticoid hormone consisting of 18 amino acids. It is secreted by the adrenal cortex in response to low blood pressure.
