Amentia syndrome, also known as amentia or euphoric stupor, is a condition in which a person experiences intense, uncontrollable emotions and illusions, as well as problems with memory, thinking and the ability to carry out daily activities. With amentia syndrome, changes in behavior are also observed, such as loss of orientation and reaction to external stimuli. This condition can occur in both adults and children, but is usually associated with schizophrenia or other psychiatric problems.
