Aortocoronary anastomosis

Aortocoronary anastomosis (anastomosis of the coronary arteries, from the Greek αορος - from the gr. cor - heart) is a surgical term used to refer to the connection (anastomosis) of the aorta with the coronary artery (from the Latin corona - crown, crown), usually during a heart transplant between the patient's vessels and the donor heart's vessels. Anastomosis between the coronary (coronary) artery and the aorta is a more physiological version of the coronary circulation compared to a direct connection between the aorta and the coronary arterial system.

The arterial anastomosis strategy should be considered as the best option in terms of achieving good early and long-term treatment results
