Enterotoxin

The toxin is produced by foodborne bacteria - the causative agents of acute intestinal infections of the genus Clostridium perfringens, as well as producers of mycobacteria. Toxic substances can be produced and produced by salmonella, shigella and some other microorganisms.



Enterotoxin is a highly active toxic substance produced by the V. parahaemolyticus bacillus. Clostridia also produce enterotoxins. The toxic substances of this bacterium are used in the food industry to give sausages an appetizing color, taste and presentation.
