Fermencol

Fermenkol: Cosmetic product for removing scars

Fermenkol is a cosmetic product developed in Russia by the High Technologies NPK company. It belongs to the pharmaceutical group of cosmetics and is intended to eliminate, reduce and prevent the formation of hypertrophic and keloid scars after surgery, burns, wounds, frostbite and acne.

The main component of Fermenkol is a natural complex of 9 collagenolytic proteases obtained from the digestive organs of marine aquatic organisms, such as crabs and other marine animals used in the food industry. These enzymes have the ability to break down collagen, the main structural protein in the skin, which helps improve its appearance and texture.

Fermenkol is applied directly to damaged skin. It helps soften and even out scars, reduce their size, and prevent the formation of new scars. It is recommended to use the product only on scars that have existed for less than 2 years, as its effectiveness may be limited when treating older scars.

Contraindications to the use of Fermenkol are hypotrophic and atrophic scars that have existed for more than 2 years, as well as individual intolerance to collagenase, the active enzymes contained in the product. If the skin is hypersensitive, Fermenkol may cause redness, but this usually disappears soon after use.

According to the literature, no side effects, interactions with other drugs, or cases of overdose were identified when using Fermenkol. No special instructions for use were found either.

To achieve the best results, it is recommended to consult with a cosmetologist and follow the methodological recommendations presented in the literature, including the methodological recommendations for practicing cosmetologists, edited by Doctor of Medical Sciences, Prof. Paramonova B.A.

Fermenkol is one of the cosmetic products intended for the prevention and correction of scars produced in Russia. Its natural composition and targeted topical action make it an attractive option for people wishing to improve the condition of their skin and reduce the appearance of scars. However, as with any other cosmetic product, it is recommended to consult a doctor or specialist before using it.
