Hemiplegia Spastic

Hemiplegia, or hemiparesis, is a neurological and medical symptom complex that represents a limitation of voluntary movements on one side of the body. Hemiplegia is widespread among patients with consequences of severe diseases of the brain and spinal cord. Most often, right- or left-sided hemiplegia is observed in patients who have suffered a stroke, as well as in victims of car accidents or war veterans with severe cranial injuries.

The main symptomatology of hemiparalysis is the partial inability of the upper (for left-sided paresis) and lower half of the body (right-sided paresis). In the event that the disease affects the arms completely and the legs are also paralyzed, the patient’s speech will not differ from the speech of a healthy person due to the low activity of the muscles of the arms and shoulder girdle.
