Glucagonoma

Glucagonoma is a rare cancer characterized by uncontrolled synthesis of glucagon in the pancreas, a hormone that regulates blood sugar levels during fasting. The pathology has been known since the 19th century. But then it was not called glucagonoma, but pancreatitis with elevated glucagon levels.
